Eliot Bessot was invited by the organization Schlesische27 in Berlin to conduct a month-long workshop with young boys aged 16 to 18, refugees from conflict zones.
The film poetically and sensitively documents, through Eliot Bessot’s perspective, the dreams and aspirations of these young people, whose circumstances are complex and often tinged with trauma from their experiences.
Through the workshop concept, their dreams take shape in sculptures they created using cardboard, paint, and modeling clay. These are then integrated with the technique of augmented reality in various locations throughout Berlin.
As a result, their dreams blend and confront reality, creating a constant tension between REALITY and the “+”.
With the support of Schlesische27 and funded by the City of Berlin.
