Eliot Bessot (born in 2000) is a multidisciplinary artist and a graduate of the Bern University of the Arts (HKB). He lives and works in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. Bessot places a central focus on innocence and lightness, which he considers a strength in response to the weight of the surrounding world and our era.
Through a contemporary drawing practice that is raw and expressive, he seeks to decode his environment. In parallel, he turns toward the production of short films and multimedia installations, exploring the continuous interaction between the tangible and the virtual, the real and the fictional. By juxtaposing or merging these worlds, Bessot strives to blur their boundaries, allowing him to address contemporary social themes with lightness, humor, and sensitivity.
