Eliot Bessot (born 2000) is a multidisciplinary artist and a graduate of the Bern University of the Arts (HKB). He lives and works in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
Through a raw and expressive contemporary drawing practice, he seeks to decode his surroundings. In parallel, he creates short films and multimedia installations that explore the constant interplay between the tangible and the virtual, the real and the fictional.
By juxtaposing and merging these worlds, Bessot’s work has been exhibited at the Pasquart Centre (KBCB) in Biel/Bienne, the LUFF Film Festival in Lausanne, and in Zürich, Basel, Bern, and Montreux. He has also participated in and led various artistic mediation projects, including at the Swiss Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (2024), S27 – Kunst und Bildung in Berlin (2024), and Espace Libre in Biel/Bienne (2025).
